Wedding Photography

Coverage of your wedding begins with your engagement photos. You will have a session with Stephanie to capture the excitement of your engagement.  Stephanie then will be with you from the rehearsal dinner through the preparations process to the ceremony and until the reception events are finished - you will have complete wedding coverage!
The rehearsal and dinner is a time to relax and go through things "one more time" before the big event. Gifts to the wedding party are often given by the bride and groom.  You'll be nervous and excited - it is a fun time for everyone. Photographs taken here will be a reminder of those who have helped you organize your wedding and will be there for you at the ceremony - and beyond.

The preparation for the wedding ceremony is a time buzzing with excitement. Brides giggle and blush like young girls, no matter what their age, and it is a beautiful thing to see. You will be so pleased to have photos of the stages of becoming the beautiful bride who walks down the aisle.  Also photographed are the groom and groomsmen preparing their waistcoats and boutonnieres, taking that last glance in the mirror, then pacing and waiting for the moment to arrive when they see their lovely wife-to-be approaching.

Stephanie prefers to wait until after the ceremony to photograph the bride and groom together. There is nothing to match the look on the face of the groom when he sees his love coming toward him!  All photos of the couple together and with their families and wedding party can be done efficiently after the ceremony.  If, however, the couple prefers to have their pictures taken beforehand, that is possible; Stephanie will do whichever you prefer. It is always fun to photograph special people coming through the reception line. If there is someone the bride and groom particularly want photographed, please tell the photographer beforehand. This is not a problem; Stephanie wants to get the shots you will treasure.

The reception events are saved on film: cutting the cake, sharing the toast, throwing the garter and the bouquet - these are all "must have" photos! What will be a surprise to the bride and groom are the candid shots of them dancing and having a grand time at their special event. The nicest compliment came from a bride looking at Stephanie's photos of her wedding. The young woman exclaimed, "These pictures are so 'real'!"  Stephanie strives to capture those "real" moments, the times you remember in your heart caught on film.
